Decontamination
eds recognise that contamination of process plant and equipment, air handling systems and buildings can often be a major problem for those decommissioning or developing industrial premises.
The contamination may be radioactive, hydrocarbon, pharmaceutical or chemical and in various forms i.e. solid, liquid, vapour, gas or powder. This contamination can be present in the air or on surfaces such as plant items or building fabric. We provide a Total Management decontamination Solution commencing with proposals, investigations and feasibility studies, through to certification of cleanliness and final reporting.
Following decontamination, eds undertake a programme of validation, utilising swab, residue and surface sampling with laboratory chemical testing to measure and demonstrate that the decontamination process has met the site-specific criteria. This can be supported, as required, by third party independent verification.
Our capabilities include decontamination down to a non-detectable level in line with the requirements of sterile areas and clean room conditions.
